LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT: WHY PANHELLENIC?

Hey there!
Welcome to UC San Diego! I’m so excited that you’re interested in joining our Panhellenic community. As the largest women’s organization on campus, we’re incredibly proud of the enriching and empowering role Panhellenic plays in the lives of our members. With 12 sororities and about 1,000 amazing women under the National Panhellenic Conference, Panhellenic offers so much more than just lifelong membership. We are dedicated to promoting harmony and equity, not only within our campus but also in the broader San Diego community.
Our members are incredible women—students, athletes, researchers, leaders, and so much more. We support each other through acts of philanthropy, scholarship, and a shared drive for greatness. Panhellenic is a space where everyone is welcome, and we’re actively working to make sure it continues to be more inclusive and socially aware.
I, along with the rest of the CPA executive board and the Panhellenic community, am here to help you find your perfect fit in sorority life at UC San Diego. Personally, this community has given me so much: lifelong friendships, deeper campus involvement, and a sense of belonging I can’t imagine being without. I wholeheartedly recommend Panhellenic, and I can’t wait to welcome you into this beautiful community.
With all my Panhellenic love,
Megan Baldwin
PANHELLENIC CREED
"We, as undergraduate members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.
We, as fraternity women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human services, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.”
